Instructions
Brown Butter Brownies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9x13 pan.
Brown butter in a saucepan.
Pour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar and vanilla.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Mix in cocoa powder.
Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Pour into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Peppermint Buttercream Frosting
Beat shortening and butter until light and fluffy.
Beat in peppermint extract.
Add sugar one cup at a time.
Add marshmallow cream and milk. Beat until light and fluffy.
Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Sift together the cocoa powder and the powdered sugar. Set aside.
Beat shortening and butter until light and fluffy.
Beat in vanilla extract.
Add sugar/cocoa powder mixture one cup at a time.
Add marshmallow cream and milk. Beat until light and fluffy.
