Ingredients

sheet puff pastry
thawed
3
Granny Smith apples
peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1/4
cup
brown sugar
2
teaspoons
apple pie spice
1
tablespoon
cold butter
cut into small cubes

tablespoons
caramel syrup
optional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375˚F.
Place the puff pastry on a floured surface and roll it into a 10-inch square. Press it into a 9-inch tart pan.
Coat the apple slices with the brown sugar and apple pie spice. Working from the outside edge, arrange the apple slices in a circle.
Top with cubes of butter.
Place the tart pan on a rimmed baking sheet and bake it at 375˚F for 30-35 minutes.
Allow the apple tart to cool, and then remove the sides of the tart pan.
Serving suggestion: Drizzle with caramel syrup and serve with vanilla ice cream.

Baking Sheet:
Place puff pastry on a baking sheet and arrange apple slices, leaving an empty border around the edges.
Mini Apple Tarts:
Use a small bowl to cut the puff pastry into circles. Place them on a baking sheet and top with apple slices.
Storage:
Cover and store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
