    Merry Mocha Mint Latte Recipe

Every year my teen awaits the arrival of the peppermint flavored coffee drinks at the coffee shops.  She LOVE the HoHo Mocha drink from Caribou Coffee which is a peppermint latte.

    ingredients to peppermint latte

    Ingredients:
    1 cup strong coffee
    1/2 cup steamed milk
    1 tablespoon peppermint syrup
    2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
    whipped cream
    candy canes

    foaming milk with whisk

Don’t have a milk steamer?  Neither do I but you can make your own frothy milk on the stovetop.  Just put 1/2 cup of milk in a small pan over medium heat.  Whisk until heated and foaming.  It only takes a couple of minutes.

    frothy milk in cup

Put the coffee and syrups into a large mug and stir.  Add the steamed milk.

    whipped cream on top
Top with whipped cream.  Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.  This peppermint latte is a delicious way to make a coffee drink at home!

Looks fantastic! Maybe I may try a variation with the Salted Caramel syrup and a twix bar instead of the candy cane!!
