    Tonia’s Notes

I love having a few simple activities ready for Thanksgiving, especially for the kids, and it’s a bonus if the adults enjoy them too! Things like Thanksgiving coloring sheets, trivia questions, stickers, thankful cards, and word searches.

This Thanksgiving bingo is a great choice because it’s easy to play and doesn’t require much preparation. Our version uses pictures instead of numbers, making it easy for younger children to join in. Plus, you can prepare everything ahead of time so it’s ready whenever you need an activity.

    Thanksgiving Bingo Printable

This Thanksgiving bingo printable includes 24 different bingo cards along with the calling cards. There are two printing options:

    • Full-Page Cards: Print one bingo card per sheet of paper.
    • Half-Page Cards: Print two bingo cards per sheet and cut them apart.

Download the full-page Thanksgiving bingo printable (PDF) or the half-page Thanksgiving bingo printable (PDF), depending on your preference, and print as many as you need.

    How To Play Thanksgiving Bingo

    Step one button.

    Print the Cards

Download and print the Thanksgiving bingo cards and calling cards. Choose the full-page or half-page version, depending on your preference. Make sure your printer is set to scale to page so that the whole image prints.

    Prepare the Calling Cards

    Hand Out the Bingo Cards

Give each player a bingo card and markers to cover the pictures. Small candies, coins, or bingo chips work well for card markers. You can even use colored pencils or washable markers if you don’t care about being able to reuse the cards.

    Play Bingo

The caller reaches into the bag, chooses one card, and describes what is on it to the other players. Players use a piece of candy, a coin, a token, or a colored pencil to mark off that item if it is on their card. The first player to get five in a row wins. Rows can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. You can also win by having four corners.

    Game Variations

Change things up by trying a different way to win!

    • Four Corners: Be the first to cover all four corners of your bingo card.
    • Blackout Bingo: Cover every picture on your card to win.
    • Multiple Rounds: Play several rounds with different winning patterns.
    • Photo Match: For little kids, make a photo matching game. Print duplicate cards, cut out the photo squares from one of them, and have them place the matching photos on the bingo card.

    Thanksgiving Bingo Tips

    • Print Ahead: Print and cut out the game cards before you need them so everything is ready to play.
    • Use Cardstock: Print the bingo cards on cardstock if you want to save them for future games.
    • Bingo Markers: Small candies make fun markers, and the players can eat candy afterward. You can also use coins, tokens, or colored pencils.
    • Large Groups: If you have more than 24 players, print extra copies of the bingo cards, but keep in mind that some players will have identical cards.
    • Prizes: Buy some small prizes ahead of time for the winners.
