Did you know that International Pancake Tuesday is February 17 this year? My son had his birthday party this weekend and I made a banana pancakes recipe with Nutella®. Nutella is like happiness in a jar! Spread the happy by surprising your family with a delicious pancake breakfast.
My family has been huge fans of Nutella for years. Nutella is a tasty spread made with roasted hazelnuts, skim milk and a hint of cocoa and it is delicious as a spread on pancakes! Visit the Nutella Tumblr page for more inspiration.
To make the banana pancakes, sift together flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Then, whisk in buttermilk, vanilla yogurt, and mashed bananas.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and gently whisk until combined. There should still be lumps in the batter. Finally, stir in the melted butter.
For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup of batter onto a greased skillet. Cook until both sides are golden brown. These pancakes smell amazing while they are cooking!
Serve with Nutella and sliced bananas. Everyone loved this banana pancakes recipe and said they were some of the best pancakes they had ever eaten!
