    Lemon Chicken with Asparagus

    This Lemon Chicken with Asparagus is full of flavor and done in only 10 minutes! Make it with leftover chicken or use rotisserie chicken.

    One Pan Lemon Chicken with Asparagus

    This skillet recipe is so easy to make and so delicious! If you are making this one pan lemon chicken with asparagus for your whole family, use a larger skillet and double the ingredients.

    Tonia’s Notes

    A local grocery store sells prepacked, cleaned, and trimmed veggies with seasonings in their produce department. When I spotted the asparagus with lemon slices and lemon pepper seasoning last winter, I just had to try it for lunch and it turned into one of my very favorite meals.

    If I’m really hungry, I can eat it all myself, otherwise, there is enough for two. The great thing about this recipe is that you can easily add more to increase the number of servings.

    How to Make Lemon Chicken

    Asparagus Pan Fried

    Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan (this is my favorite) over medium-high heat. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring often.

    Lemon slices on top

    Add the butter, cooked chicken, lemon pepper seasoning, and lemon slices.

    Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until the chicken is heated through and the asparagus is tender and browned.

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 bunch asparagus cleaned and trimmed
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1 cup cooked chicken
    • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
    • 3 lemon slices

    Instructions

      Very tasty dish. Put in more lemon and used some of the gravy left over from the chicken. Served with baby Jersey potatoes.
