Easy Turtle Cheesecake with Whipped Cream

I’ve always had a love for turtle desserts. It’s something about the combination of chocolate, caramel and pecans that is just fantastic. When I was a kid, I use my own money to buy turtle candies from the store.

Today I am excited to share a with you a delicious way to make an Easy Turtle Cheesecake using Sara Lee Original Cream Cheesecake.

Sara Lee Original Cream Cheesecake

Sara Lee Original Cream Cheesecake is such a great dessert to have on hand. Keeping Sara Lee Cheesecake or Pound Cake in your freezer is the perfect way to be prepared for easy entertaining at any time! Just thaw and serve!

It is delicious just as it comes, but it’s fun to make it uniquely yours by adding your favorite toppings. Sara Lee dessert products are conveniently located in the frozen food section of your local Walmart store.

Caramel spread on cheesecake

Pour about 1/4 cup of caramel ice cream topping over the top of a thawed Sara Lee Original Cream Cheesecake and carefully spread it out, if necessary.

Sprinkle about 1/4 cup of chopped pecans over the caramel.

Drizzle about 1/4 cup of chocolate fudge ice cream topping over the chopped pecans. You can also use a disposable icing bag or in a plastic sandwich bag with the corner snipped to pipe the chocolate fudge sauce over the cheesecake.

Finally, pipe swirls of whipped cream or whipped topping around the outer edge of the turtle cheesecake.

That’s it! It’s so easy to make a turtle cheesecake and everyone will be impressed. My family couldn’t wait for me to finish taking pictures of this cheesecake so that they could have a slice.

Easy turtle cheesecake recipe made from a ready-made cheesecake. Top it with chocolate, caramel, pecans and whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 Sara Lee Orignal Cream Cheesecake, thawed
  • 1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup chocolate fudge ice cream topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Pour the caramel ice cream sauce over the top of the cheesecake and carefully spread it out if necessary.
  2. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the caramel.
  3. Drizzle chocolate fudge ice cream sauce over the chopped pecans. (You can also use a disposable icing bag or in a plastic sandwich bag with the corner snipped to pipe the chocolate fudge sauce over the cheesecake.)
