We love making Italian sodas with lemon-lime pop or ginger ale, cream, and flavored syrup. And we thought it would be fun to come up with some flavored Halloween kid’s drinks!

How To Make Halloween Drinks For Kids

collage of making a halloween drink

Start by decorating clear plastic cups. Then add ice cubes to the cups and pour lemon-lime soda over the ice. We have this countertop ice machine that makes perfect little ice pellets for our drinks.

Next, pour in the half-and-half and drizzle with flavored syrup. Follow my easy snow cone syrup recipe to make any flavor syrup you want with only a few ingredients, or you can use store-bought syrups. Top with sprinkles, edible glitter, or cotton candy.

    Jack-O-Lantern

This Jack-O-Lantern drink tastes like an orange creamsicle! It has jack-o-lantern eyes and mouth with a green-striped straw.

Start by cutting out jack-o-lantern eyes and mouths. Glue them on clear plastic cups.

You can download my free printable jack-o-lanterns here.

Use orange syrup for a yummy orange creamsicle flavor. Finish it off with a green spiral straw. These pumpkin Tootsie pops would be the perfect thing to serve alongside these kids’ Halloween drinks!

    Green Monster Drink

The Green Monster Halloween drink tastes like green apples! The cup features googly eyes, black “hair,” and a green straw.

To make the Green Monster Drink, attach googly eyes to a clear plastic cup. Use green apple syrup for the flavoring.

Top the cup with an upside-down black cupcake liner with a slit cut in it for a green straw.

    Black Spider Halloween Drinks

This Black Spider Halloween Drink for kids tastes like black cherry! It has black sugar on the rim, a black spider on the cup, and a cotton candy “web” on top.

Glue a plastic spider onto a clear plastic cup to make Black Spider Halloween Drinks. Dip the rim in melted black candy melts (or use chocolate chips) and then in black sprinkles.

Drizzle black cherry syrup darkened with black food coloring along the inside of the cup. Top with white cotton candy.

    Mummy Mocktail

This adorable little Mummy mocktail tastes like a pina colada and is perfect for Halloween! The cup is decorated with strips of gauze with googly eyes peeking out!

To make a non-alcoholic Halloween Mummy Drink, glue googly eyes on a cup and wrap it with strips of gauze. I bought gauze at the dollar store and used sharp scissors to cut it into thinner strips. Use a pina colada syrup and a white straw.

    Purple Potion Hocus Pocus Drink

This bubbly Hocus Pocus Purple Potion Halloween Drink tastes like grape candy. The cup is rimmed with purple sugar, and the drink is topped with white cotton candy “fog.”

For this purple drink, dip the rim of a clear plastic cup in melted purple candy melts and then into purple sprinkles. Use grape syrup and a purple twist straw. Top with white cotton candy that will magically disappear before your eyes!
