With two working parents and three kids in school, things are busy! Throw in a couple of holidays, birthdays, weddings and graduation and you’ve got craziness.

One of the things that brings our family together is weeknight meals. We aren’t all together for dinner every night, but we try to eat together as often as we can.

This Triple Meat Pizza Casserole recipe is perfect for busy weeknights because it takes less than 30 minutes to make and only uses one pan!

Triple Meat Pizza Casserole Recipe

Italian Sausage

Step One:

Brown the spicy Italian sausage for 3-4 minutes, in a large, oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven, over medium-high heat.

Step Two:

Add Canadian bacon and pepperoni.

Brown for 1-2 minutes over medium heat.

Step Three:

Add a jar of marinara sauce, water, oregano, and garlic salt.

Stir to combine.

Step Four:

Mix in 8 ounces of rotini pasta.

Cover the pan and bring to a boil.

Step Five:

Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 12 minutes until pasta is tender.

Step Six:

Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step Seven:

Brown the cheese under the broiler for a couple of minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz Canadian bacon, diced (about 35 slices)
  • 3.5 oz pepperoni, diced (about 50 slices)
  • 3/4 pound spicy Italian sausage
  • 24 ounce jar of marinara
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 8 ounces rotini pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown spicy Italian sausage for 3-4 minutes, in a large, oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven, over medium-high heat.
  2. Add diced Canadian bacon, and pepperoni. Brown for 1-2 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Add a jar of marinara sauce, water, oregano, and garlic salt and stir.
  4. Mix in eight ounces of rotini pasta. Cover the pan and bring it to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 12 minutes until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  6. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Brown the cheese under the broiler for a couple of minutes.

Notes

Top with pizza sauce, black olives, and parmesan cheese, if desired.
