This patriotic trail mix is a tasty combination of puppy chow, yogurt-covered raisins, pretzel Goldfish, mini peanut butter cups, M&Ms, peanuts, and sprinkles. You can add more or less of any of the ingredients to make it your own!

    Tonia’s Notes

Trail mix is a fun snack perfect for bringing along wherever you go! Pack some in snack-sized baggies for camping, summer field trips, beach days, and celebrations like the 4th of July!

How To Make Red White and Blue Trail Mix

    • Put all of the ingredients (except the sprinkles) into a large bowl and stir to combine.
    • Top with the sprinkles. I like adding them last so they don’t all end up on the bottom.
    • Serve it from the bowl or transfer it to one large ziptop bag or several snack-sized bags for storage.

    Make Ahead and Storage

    • Make Ahead: This is the perfect snack to make ahead of time to bring along on summer outings and celebrations!
    • Storage: Store the trail mix in an airtight container or storage bag in a cool, dry place for 5-7 days or in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
    • Freezer: You can also store it in the freezer for 1-2 months.

Individual Bags of Red White and Blue Trail Mix

You can put the trail mix into individual baggies to make it easy to transport and serve! Spoon the mix into snack-size bags and seal them on top.

For fun, add a red white and blue trail mix label. You can find my 6.5-inch wide labels here and the 3.5-inch wide labels here. After printing the labels, cut them out, fold them in half, and staple them to the baggies.
