Use your favorite baking mix to make these mouthwatering Bisquick recipes for everything from breakfast to dinner and appetizers to desserts!

Growing up there was always a yellow box of bisquick in the pantry and when I moved out of my parent’s house it became a pantry staple for us as well. The main reason to keep this basic baking mix on hand is that it can be used in so many ways.
The first bisquick recipes I learned how to make were pancakes, biscuits, and waffles. Once I realized that I could use the baking mix for other things I expanded into making casseroles and cobblers.
What is bisquick?
Bisquick® is the brand name of a baking mix sold in the United States. It is a combination of flour, shortening, baking powder, and salt.
Jiffy Baking Mix contains similar ingredients and could be used as a substitution. You can also use the copycat bisquick recipe below to easily make it yourself.
Why use bisquick in recipes?
I like using bisquick in recipes simply because it is a shortcut that saves me time. The baking mix includes four ingredients and I only need to take one box out of the cupboard to get all four.
It is perfect for bringing with when going camping. Not only is it shelf-stable, but it also means that there are fewer things to pack.
Are there any gluten-free bisquick recipes?
Yes, you can substitute gluten-free bisquick for the original mix to make a gluten-free version. Just make sure the other ingredients you add to make the dish are also gluten-free.
If you want to make homemade gluten-free bisquick, substitute the flour in the copycat version below with a one-to-one gluten-free flour.

The CREPE recipe you had on the Bisquick box. Located on the side of the box at the bottom.
I kept it in my cookbook but the flood of 2016 in Louisiana destroyed everything in our house. Most treasured were pictures and recipes. I can’t replace my photo albums but hoping to get a few recipes back. I am trying to cook again.
Thank you
