    Tonia’s Notes

We’ve been making two ingredient dough since 2018 and still love it! It’s easy to prepare and can be used to make so many things.

These pretzel dogs are another one of our favorite uses for the dough and I realized that I hadn’t shared the recipe yet. My family always wants me to make a double batch so that there are leftovers to reheat later!

    Assemble Pretzel Dogs

Roll each portion of dough into a long rope that is about 16-18 inches long. Pat the hot dogs dry and wrap the dough around them pressing it onto itself on both ends to hold it in place.

    Step four button.

    Baking Soda Water

Bring the water to a boil in a large bowl in the microwave. Stir in the baking soda, dunk each pretzel dog into the mixture with a slotted spatula, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 425˚F for 9-12 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with pretzel salt.
