Cottage cheese is an easy way to add some protein to your ranch dip, and if you blend it beforehand, the texture of your dip will still be smooth and creamy! This veggie dip is so easy to prepare, and you can make it ahead of time.

    Tonia’s Notes

I’ve never been the biggest cottage cheese fan because of the texture, but about a year ago, I started using it in some of my recipes. When I blend it in my food processor beforehand, the texture completely changes!

This cottage cheese ranch dip is one of our favorite ways to use it, but we also use it instead of Greek yogurt in some of our two ingredient dough recipes. We’ve even used blended cottage cheese to make Alfredo sauce!

    Cottage Cheese

Put the cottage cheese into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. This step is optional but gives the dip a smooth texture.

    Recipe Tips

    • Make Ahead: This is the perfect recipe to prepare ahead of time because it needs time to chill before you serve it anyway!
    • Refrigerator: Store the cottage cheese ranch dip in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Stir it before serving, if necessary.
    • Serving: Serve it with fresh vegetables, chicken wings, hushpuppies, potato chips, French fries, jalapeno poppers, and chicken bites.
