Skip the drive-thru and make air fryer chicken bites at home instead. They only take a few minutes to prepare and bake in 8-10 minutes.

    Tonia’s Notes

Chick-fil-A is one of our favorite fast-food restaurants, and I love ordering their chicken nuggets, both breaded and grilled. But the nearest restaurant is 30 minutes from our house, so we don’t make it there very often.

I decided to make an easy chicken bites recipe for the air fryer, and now they are one of our favorite, easy meals. We love them spicy, but you can add less of the chipotle chili pepper or omit it if you prefer.

    How To Make

    Step one button.

    Chicken Breasts

Cut the chicken breasts into cubes and transfer them to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and stir to coat.

    Coat with olive oil.
    Step two button.

    Seasoning

In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, paprika, chipotle chili pepper (omit for less spicy chicken bites), onion powder, and black pepper. Sprinkle the mixture over the chicken and stir until evenly coated.

    Coat with seasonings.
    Step three button.

    Air Fryer

Put the seasoned chicken into the preheated, greased air fryer basket and cook at 380˚F for 8-10 minutes, flipping the pieces halfway through cooking.

    Tips and Storage

    • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or in the freezer for 1-2 months.
    • Reheat: Thaw frozen chicken bites in the fridge overnight. Reheat them in the microwave, air fryer, or oven.
    • Serving: We served them homemade French fries, hamburger sauce, fresh veggies, and cottage cheese ranch dip.
    • Oven-Baked: You can bake them in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer or want to make a larger quantity.
