Spicy Deviled Eggs for Easter

With Easter just around the corner, everyone is making eggs. We’ve already gone through a couple dozen eggs and will be making more this week. My kids have brainstormed several ideas for decorating the eggs and are looking forward to it. So, what do you do with all of those eggs? We added MIRACLE WHIP Dressing and made some Spicy Deviled Eggs. We shared the eggs with my nieces and nephews and they loved themeven the 2 year old!

How To Make Hard Boiled Eggs

The first step to making Spicy Deviled Eggs is to make the hard cooked eggs. To make amazing hard cooked eggs, place the eggs in a large pan in a single layer. Cover them with 1 inch of cold water. Bring the water to a boil, cover the pan and remove it from the heat. Let the eggs stand in the hot water for 15 minutes. Immediately drain the eggs and place them in a bowl of ice water. Allow the eggs to cool completely, changing the water when necessary to keep it cold.

Next, peel the eggs and cut them in half.

Mix Egg Filling

Put the yolks in a bowl and mash with a fork. Add MIRACLE WHIP Dressing, GREY POUPON Dijon mustard and finely diced jalapeno peppers and mix well.

Fill Deviled Eggs

Put all of the egg whites on a large serving platter or use cheerful cake stand like I did. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture. I used my smallest cookie dough scoop. Another easy way to fill the eggs is to spoon the yolk mixture into a plastic bag, snip the corner and pipe it into the egg whites.

Deviled Eggs Recipe

Sprinkle the deviled eggs with paprika. Garnish them with additional jalapeno peppers, if desired. Then, the eggs are ready to serve to your family and friends!

Ingredients

  • 12 hard cooked eggs
  • 2/3 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
  • 2 tsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
  • 1 jalapeño peppers, seeded & finely diced

Instructions

  1. Cut eggs lengthwise in half. Remove yolks; place in medium bowl. Mash with fork.
  2. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
  3. Spoon into egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika. Garnish with additional jalapeno slices, if desired.
